Company-Led Training (CLT) is a career programme backed by IMDA. You're employed full-time from the day you start, trained for six to eight weeks for one of six tech roles, then placed on work with an MNC or SME for up to 12 months, subject to availability.

Who CLT is for
Requirement
You must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- 01Fresh graduates.
Including people who have never worked full-time.
- 02Mid-career professionals.
Including people switching into IT from another field.
- 03Mature PMETs.
Professionals, managers, executives and technicians.
- 04A degree, diploma, ITE certificate or equivalent.
Your qualification doesn't have to be in IT or another STEM subject.
You don't need IT experience. The training covers the technical skills and the soft skills you need to work in IT.

Six roles you can train for

Role 01 of 06
Full-Stack Developer
Front-end and back-end development, with hands-on training and guidance from experienced developers.
- 01Build and maintain web applications, with React, Angular or Vue.js on the front end and Node.js, Java or Python on the back end.
- 02Design database schemas and queries in SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- 03Build and maintain APIs that connect to other systems.
- 04Take part in code reviews, testing and debugging, and help deploy applications to production.
- 05Work in a team using Git, GitHub or GitLab.
Role 02 of 06
AI & Data Engineer
Turn business requirements into data and machine-learning solutions, working with product managers, data scientists and engineers.
- 01Design, build and evaluate machine-learning models, using tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn and Keras.
- 02Prepare data and engineer features for model training.
- 03Work on MLOps: automated model evaluation, fine-tuning and monitoring in production.
- 04Work with software engineers to put models into production systems.
Role 03 of 06
Cybersecurity Analyst
Balance business needs with security requirements, working with product managers, security practitioners and vendors.
- 01Protect information systems by defining access privileges and controls.
- 02Find weaknesses through periodic audits, vulnerability tests and penetration tests, and recommend fixes.
- 03Configure, install and integrate security services.
- 04Document and validate technical designs, and support governance and compliance work.
Role 04 of 06
Product Analyst
Bridge business needs and technical delivery on a low-code or enterprise platform such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega or OutSystems.
- 01Work with developers, mentors and stakeholders to turn requirements into user stories and solutions.
- 02Configure the platform: custom objects, workflows, validation rules, reports and dashboards.
- 03Analyse product data and user feedback, and recommend improvements.
- 04Write product documentation and support user acceptance testing.
Role 05 of 06
Technical Project Manager
Plan and deliver technical and cloud projects with developers, product managers and designers.
- 01Plan projects, set scope and timelines, and track milestones.
- 02Manage resources, including team members, vendors and third-party consultants.
- 03Identify risks and put mitigation and contingency plans in place.
- 04Report progress to stakeholders and management.
Role 06 of 06
Solutions Architect
Design the architecture of technical and cloud applications, especially AI solutions, with developers and product teams.
- 01Work with clients to understand their goals and where AI can help.
- 02Design AI solutions, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision and predictive analytics.
- 03Choose technologies and platforms for scale, performance and cost, and build proofs of concept.
- 04Guide the technical work from design through to deployment.

Am I paid while I train?

How long is it?

Do I need an IT degree or IT experience?
No. Fresh graduates and career switchers can apply, and non-STEM diplomas and degrees are accepted. You do need a degree, diploma, ITE certificate or equivalent.
