Enquiry and Event Forms

When you send an enquiry, apply to a programme or register for an event through this website, we keep what you entered (for example your name, email address, phone number, company and message), the page you sent it from, and a record that you agreed to this Policy (the date, time and version of the Policy). Only GECO Asia staff who handle enquiries and events can see it. We use it to respond to you and to manage your registration. We keep it until you ask us to delete it.

CVs and Job Applications

If you send us your CV (through Submit Your Resume, a campus form or our Talent Community), we store the file and your details privately on this website. Only our recruitment staff and administrators can open them; CVs are not sent around as email attachments. We use them to consider you for suitable roles, and we keep them until you ask us to delete them.

Our Website Assistant (Gecko)

The chat assistant on this website answers questions about GECO Asia. Your messages are processed by Microsoft Azure OpenAI to produce the answers. We keep each conversation for 90 days, so we can improve the answers, and then delete it automatically. Conversations are visible only to our administrators and are stored with a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address, not the address itself. Your own browser keeps the current conversation for up to 24 hours so it survives a page reload. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.

Cookies and Storage on This Website

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores a few small settings in your own browser so the site works as you expect: your day or night display choice, the current chat conversation (up to 24 hours) and when the chat last showed you a reminder. Staff who sign in to manage the website also receive a login cookie. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first.

Your Consent and Your Choices

Our forms ask you to agree to this Policy before you send anything. You can withdraw your consent, ask what personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it at any time by writing to dpo@geco.asia.

Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your personal information. However, no data transmission over the Internet or storage system can be guaranteed as 100% secure. Thus, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.
